Wayland Public Schools believes that interscholastic athletics are vital to student engagement and the development of the "whole child." Beyond the field of play, our athletic programs foster profound social and emotional growth, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our school community.

Specific dates for try-outs and informational meetings will be shared via the WMS Weekly Newsletter and daily announcements as they become available. Please stay tuned to these channels for the most up-to-date schedules.

To participate in try-outs, students must meet the following two requirements:

• Online Registration: All student-athletes must be registered through ArbiterSports (formerly FamilyID).

• Medical Clearance: A current physical examination must be on file with the school nurse.

Note: Students will not be permitted to participate in try-outs until both their registration and physical are verified.
